The Erasmus Student Network at NKUA ESN Kapa Athens organise extracurricular activities, such as guided visits to the Hellenic Parliament, as well as excursions to ancient and cultural sites. Furthermore, they offer assistance to foreign students to find private accommodation ().

Directorate of Public and International Relations

DOATAP

DOATAP, the Hellenic NARIC is an organization supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of Education. It is responsible for the recognition of university or technological degrees that are awarded by foreign Higher Education Institutions (H.E.I.). The Hellenic NARIC is also responsible for providing information about educational systems and accreditation of Institutions in Greece and abroad.

Foreign students are strongly advised to check DOATAP, which regularly updates a list of recognised foreign Higher EducationInstitutions (HEIs): (http://www.doatap.gr/).To check for the recognisation of degrees from abroad: doatap.gr/en/

Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA/ADIP)

The Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA) is an independent administrative authority which began its operations in 2006. Its mission is to ensure high quality in higher education. The Agency is governed by the President and the Council, which consists of 10 University and TEI Professors, and members representing non-academic research institutions, Chambers and students in Greece. The HQA is an independent body, overseen by the Minister of Education in regard to the legality of its actions and is responsible for quality assurance in higher education at national level.
