Department Facilities in Athens and on Lesvos

The MSc will take place at NKUA in the Department of Communication and Media Studies in the center of Athens. The Summer School will be hosted by the University of the Aegean in Mytilene, Lesvos. 

The Department of Communication and Media Studies at NKUA has auditoriums and classrooms of various capacities. The specific rooms for each course will be announced in due time. A library is hosted in a building at the junction of 42-44 Aeolou Street and Kolokotroni, on the 5th and 6th floors. Its internet rooms and computers can be used by the students of this programme. This library is accessible to students with disabilities and offer specific support. The Department’s laboratories provide supervisory and administrative support to the students to develop their educational and research material. Additionally, the laboratories of NKUA and the University of the Aegean offer  sufficient technological equipment such as computers, printers as well as a scanner, type software, TV, support for distance learning, appropriate equipment for support for multimedia applications, logistical equipment for conducting media training seminars, as well as specialized software programs for the recording and analysis of research data, among which the SPSS.
